The Vision of Tharseo is to help clients work through issues in their life, on a path towards discovering freedom and living a more confident life. It is a place where Clients can “take courage”, “dare to be bold” and “to trust”.
Kara Kensinger MA, LMFT, NCC
A native of West Michigan, Kara Kensinger received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University, her Bachelor's degree in Intercultural Studies and Biblical Literature, and her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Kara began providing Counseling in the Wabash area before moving overseas to Cambodia, where she provided counseling and debriefing as a volunteer with World Hope International. For the past ten years, Kara has assisted a variety of clients work on overcoming depression, anxiety, and trauma. She has also attended several conferences on Play Therapy, Grief, and ADHD in kids and adults, as well as received training in EMDR therapy.
Kara loves helping people find new ways to encounter life and find the freedom they seek. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, camping, reading, playing games, and spending time with her family.
